WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Living Word has many opportunities for bible study and fellowship. Please contact Angie Moore at amoore@lwbc.net for current information about our women’s ministry.
MEN’S MINISTRY
Bible & Bacon is a breakfast and bible study for men that meets on the second and fourth Saturday of the month at 9:00 AM. Men of all ages are welcome. Contact Scott Blomquist at scott@lwbc.netfor more information.
MOMME GROUP
Come enjoy a time of fellowship and refreshment with other moms! Childcare is provided. 1st Thursday of the month at 9:30. Contact Kristen Rodriguez at kr1stenc@yahoo.com for more information.
ADULT MINISTRIES LUNCHEON
Join us on the second Friday of the month at 11:30 AM for our senior adult luncheon! This is a time for senior adults to fellowship over a meal and hear about what God is doing in the community. Contact Matt Short at mshort@lwbc.net for more information.
KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY
Kairos Prison Ministry serves the incarcerated in Central Virginia. Volunteers receive training and then go into the prisons and evangelize to the lost inmates. BLUE RIDGE PREGNANCY CENTER
Living Word partners with the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center to help expecting mothers with life skill classes. Volunteers would mentor these young ladies as well as participate in a baby shower at the end of the class. You can learn more about the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center here. THE SALVATION ARMY
Serve those in need with LWBC on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM. During this time volunteers feed the hungry and help with clean up. Volunteers can serve on a rotating schedule or serve every week.
